According to reports, West Ham are closing in on a £15 million move for Burnley striker Andre Gray.
The 26-year-old Gray has just one year remaining on his contract and it appears that he will be sold this summer after failing to reach an agreement with his club over wages.
Although Burnley wish to hold onto the striker, they may have to sell as they could risk losing the player for nothing. The Hammers are looking to recruit new strikers and are in pole position to usurp Newcastle in the race to sign Gray.
Should Gray join Slaven Bilic’s side, he could become the club’s second signing of the summer after veteran defender Pablo Zabaleta joined the club.
In addition to Gray, the Hammers have also been reported to be interested in attackers such as Olivier Giroud, Javier Hernandez and Anthony Modeste.
