Swansea are believed to have entered the race for Liverpool’s left-back Alberto Moreno along with Roma and Napoli, according to Express-News. Sources suggest Liverpool have received a bid worth £13 million from Swansea for the defender.
Previous reports by Corriere Dello Sport, an Italian Newspaper, claim Moreno’s availability was discussed during negotiations between Roma and Liverpool over a deal for M. Salah.
Manager Jurgen Klopp seems to have lost confidence in the 24-year-old Spanish national, having replaced him last season with James Milner as a makeshift fullback.
Moreno is aware that he will not be included in the Reds plans for next season as Liverpool increasingly seem in favor of signing Hull City’s Andrew Robertson.
Moreno, who joined Liverpool from Sevilla in 2014, will look to put behind him the dismal spell at Anfield, but Liverpool will not allow him to leave cheap having already rejected a bid worth £11 million from another Serie A giant Napoli two weeks ago.
