Youngster Josh Bowler is reportedly close to completing a £4.25 million move to Everton from Queens Park Rangers.
The 18-year-old Bowler did not make a start for Rangers and only made his debut for the club coming off the bench in May during a 4-0 defeat to Norwich City.
Despite the youngster’s lack of senior experience, Everton have been linked with him for a long time and it became apparent that he had wished to move to Ronald Koeman’s club after he had refused to sign a new contract with Rangers.
Koeman has developed a reputation for nurturing young talent, which will no doubt appeal to Bowler.
The Dutch manager has done an impressive job in terms of helping Ademola Lookman and Tom Davies shine on the football pitch and Bowler will also undoubtedly be able to thrive at Goodison Park.
