West Ham finally enter agreement for striker

West Ham United have sold striker Enner Valencia for an undisclosed fee to Mexican club Tigres.

The Ecuador international Valencia spent last season on loan with fellow Premier League club Everton and after failing to impress at the Toffees, he was spent back to the Hammers at the end of the season.

Slaven Bilic will be happy to have parted ways with Valencia, three years after he joined the club from Mexican outfit Pachucha for £12 million. From 66 matches for the Hammers, he managed to score just 10 goals which are not healthy returns.

The Hammers had a disappointing season last term and there forwards in particular underperformed.

According to reports, they are willing to spend £15 million on luring Andre Gray from Burnley while also maintaining interest in signing Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen, Olivier Giroud from Arsenal, Manchester City youngster KelechiIheanacho as well as Cologne striker Anthony Modeste.
