According to reports, Fabio Borini is set to swap Sunderland for AC Milan after undergoing a medical with the Italian club on Thursday.
The San Siro giants posted pictures of the 26-year-old Borini undergoing tests at their La Madonnina Clinic on their website on Thursday morning.
After joining the Black Cats permanently in 2015 for a sum of money believed to be in the region of £10 million, Borini struggled for form. The Italy international will now hope to rediscover his touch in his homeland.
He is also one of many players that Sunderland are looking to sell in order to bolster their side ahead of life in the Championship.
It is understood that the attacker will initially move to Milan on a season long loan deal with the move being made permanent next summer. Milan are also looking to re-establish themselves as a dominant force in Italy and will hope that Borini can help them.
