According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur have laughed off interest from Manchester United, who are interested in signing striker Harry Kane.
Kane has established himself as one of the premier forwards in world football in recent years and Jose Mourinho has reportedly set his eyes on the England international as he looks to re-establish United as a dominant force.
Mourinho is reportedly trying to convince United vice-chairman Ed Woodward to launch a £100 million bid for Kane, though Spurs are said to have laughed off the claims.
Kane is a product of the Spurs youth academy and due to his connection with the club, it is hard to see him moving anytime soon.
For United, their best hope of signing Kane will be if the Lilywhites fail to win major silverware in the coming years. Should they fail to win any major trophies, a move to the Red Devils may be an appealing option for the striker in the future.
