According to reports, Arsenal are nearing a deal to complete the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, which could pave the way for Olivier Giroud to join West Ham this summer.
Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore is reportedly also on the verge of joining Lyon and could be viewed as a replacement for Lacazette.
The 26-year-old Lacazette has established himself as a lethal striker after having bagged 100 goals from 203 Ligue 1 games for his club.
The Gunners are keen on luring him as they look to bolster their side ahead of trying to re-establish themselves as a dominant force within English football.
Giroud has been less than convincing this past season and with the 2018 World Cup just a year away, he may favor a move away from the Emirates stadium in order to play more regularly and gain a place in the France squad for the global showpiece.
