Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for unsettled Manchester United star Chris Smalling, according to The Sun.
Smalling appears to now be surplus to requirements at United, after the club completed the signing of Viktor Lindelof and it is likely that the club will allow him to leave, should they receive a good offer.
Smalling managed just 15 Premier League games this past season for the Red Devils and will likely be keen to move on from the club in order to try and win a place in the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Should Smalling go to Spurs, he will likely be used as cover for Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, as Kevin Wimmer is set to depart the club this summer.
In addition to Spurs, Smalling is also said to be liked by the likes of West Ham as well as Arsenal and Everton.
