According to reports, scouts from Tottenham Hotspur watched Marcus Ginter in action whilst playing for Germany against Denmark. Ginter played 66 minutes of the friendly international which ended 1-1.
The North London club recently received a boost in their hopes of signing Ginter after it was revealed that he is considering the prospect of playing in a new League after initially indicating a preference to remain in Germany.
Ginter is versatile being able to operate as a right-back as well as centre-back and can play in both a back four and back three.
Spurs will be looking to bolster their squad as they aim to challenge for the Premier League as well as compete in the Champions League next season and Ginter will be a good addition to their squad.
He currently earns less than £30,000 with Dortmund and Spurs will likely be able to offer him a significant salary increase.
