According to reports, West Ham United are looking to sign Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore. The 21-year-old Traore spent this past season on loan with Ajax and played during the Europa League final as the Dutch club lost to Manchester United.
Considering that the chances of Traore earning first team football at Chelsea next season look slim, there is a strong possibility that the Premier League Champions will allow him to leave either on loan or permanently.
Traore netted 14 goals from 43 appearances in all competitions this past season. Everton are however also interested in the youngster and could have an advantage in the race to sign him considering that Chelsea are looking to sign Romelu Lukaku from the Merseyside Clubs.
Chelsea may offer Traore as well as cash for the signature of Lukaku, who they are aiming to recruit as their first choice striker ahead of next season, due to the fact that Diego Costa’s future at the club looks uncertain.
