Tottenham reportedly interested in a shock move for Liverpool man

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry about Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.

Sakho is out of favor at Liverpool and spent the second half of this past season on loan with Crystal Palace. Palace were reported to be interested in acquiring Sakho on a permanent deal but were unhappy with the price that Liverpool are demanding for his sale.

Tottenham are however said to not be put off by the French internationals £30 million price tag. Spurs have reportedly made their interest to Liverpool known, though it is still the early stages and no formal offer has yet been made.

After falling out with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Sakho was not used in the first team during the first half of the season and instead played for the clubs under-23 side. He will be keen to move on this summer in search of a club that can offer him playing time.
