Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has said that he has no doubt that Harry Kane will do a good job as England captain.
The 23-year-old Kane was given the opportunity to captain the Three Lions for his countries match against Scotland on Saturday.
Lloris, who has witnessed Kane develop from a youngster on the Spurs fringes into arguably one of the best strikers in World football, was full of praise for his team-mate.
He said following France’s 2-1 loss to Sweden on Friday, “I can only talk positively about Harry. He’s a great leader with Tottenham, he’s a great man and he’s a great player.
“Obviously his destiny is to be one of the best strikers for England and hopefully he will get success with the armband.”
It is certainly a big honor for Kane to be given the captaincy especially at his age. He now follows in the footsteps of modern day greats such as John Terry, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney in captaining the Three Lions.
