Liverpool reportedly set to place £52million bid for South American star

James Rodriguez

Liverpool is thought to be preparing a £52 million bid to land Colombian James Rodriguez according to Spanish source Don Balon, Sky Sports.

The Colombian first gained recognition at the World Cup 2014, after dazzling performances from James including a wonder strike against Uruguay leading Colombia to the quarterfinals.

A highly impressed Real Madrid took no time to sign James as their next galactico but James hasn’t been able to cement his place in the first team resulting in growing frustration with the lack of game time.

So, James looks ripe to be on the move this summer with several clubs like Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and now Liverpool eyeing his signature.

As an all rounded player with a goal scoring instinct, creativity and capable of beating players with his skill and pace, who has also shown his ability playing in several different positions from central midfield to either side of the wings and even as a striker. There is certainly no doubt in his talent!

James is reportedly favoring a Premier League move with Manchester United being favorites to sign him but James could be just the player Liverpool requires to help fire them to their first league title in 27 years.
