According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Everton are set to battle in the race to sign Bolton youngster Max Broughton.
The 16-year-old Broughton has played impressively while on duty for the Bolton under 18-side as well as England youth teams and this has caught the attention of the three Premier League clubs.
Bolton had a good season this past term and secured promotion back to the Championship after being relegated to League one at the end of the 2015-16 season. They will however struggle to keep hold of Broughton should one of the three Premier League outfits step up their interest.
The Lancashire outfit will have to try and convince Broughton that he can continue his development at the club by remaining.
However considering that Spurs and Everton in particular, have developed reputations recently of building young talent into stars, it may prove to be a difficult task.
