According to popular bookmakers Ladbrokes, Southampton have entered the race to sign Robert Snodgrass from West Ham.
The bookmakers listed Southampton as 7/1 third favorites to sign the 29-year-old Snodgrass behind West Bromich Albion at 5/1 and favorites Brighton and Hove Albion at 5/2.
Snodgrass arrived at the London Stadium during the January transfer window for £10 million from Hull City and Hammers fans would have been hoping that he would have added quality to the side following the infamous departure of Dimitri Payet.
However, Snodgrass failed to emulate the form that he displayed with Hull during the first half of the season and did not find the back of the net during his 15 Premier League appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side.
Should West Ham opt to sign the former Hull City star, they will not be short of offers especially considering that Snodgrass is a proven performer in the Premier League.
