Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen is said to be keeping all options open amid speculation that he could be set to depart the North London club this summer.
The Dutch international Janssen failed to impress during his first season with Spurs, scoring just twice in open play from 38 matches across all competitions. Many have speculated that he does not have what it takes to perform well for club with the ambitions of Spurs at this point in time.
When asked about speculation linking him with a move back to the Eredivisie, Janssen said, “I keep all options open. [My future] is a matter for after the holidays. I want the prospect of more playing time, but otherwise I’m now better keeping my mouth shut.”
Janssen failed to provide adequate support and competition for Tottenham’s main striker Harry Kane this season. It remains to be seen if the club will prefer to give Janssen a second chance next season or opt to part ways with him.
