According to reports, Everton are linked with a surprise move for Huddersfield Town striker Rekeil Pyke.
The 19-year-old was on loan with League two side Colchester last season and though he failed to find the back of the net during the 12 matches that he played, he is said to have shown some good touches.
Ronald Koeman is a fan of recruiting young players that show promising signs just as he did with Ademola Lookman, who arrived at the Toffees from Charlton Athletic during the January transfer window and many expect the youngster to become a breakout star in the coming seasons.
Given that Pyke has not exactly hit the ground running, it comes as a surprise that he has been linked with Everton.
Should the youngster arrive at Goodison Park this summer, it is likely that he will be loaned out in order to gain more experience and score more goals.
