Aston Villa midfielder Carles Gil reportedly has many offers ahead of next season and is unlikely to remain at Villa Park.
The Spain international spent last season on loan with La Liga outfit Deportivo La Coruna, where he delivered solid performances and according to reports, the Spanish side are interested in signing the player on a permanent basis.
The 24-year-old joined Villa from Valencia in January 2015 for a fee believed to be in the region of £3.2 million. Though he scored fantastic goals against Sunderland, Leicester and Bournemouth, Gil’s spell with the Villans was largely disappointing and he failed to establish himself within the squad.
Gil will most likely be offloaded this summer to allow Villa manager Steve Bruce more space to bolster his squad ahead of next season. Gil will not be short of offers as there are reportedly a number of Spanish clubs that are interested in signing him.
