West Ham are reportedly keen to sign Watford striker Isaac Success according to the players former youth coach Douglas Idahosa.
Success’s former coach Idahosa said of the reported West Ham interest, “It is true that West Ham are interested in signing Isaac Success. If he is not promised first team opportunities he will move before the window closes.”
Success impressed while on the books of Spanish La Liga club Grenada, establishing himself as a fine young prospect before transferring to Watford last summer in a deal worth £12.5 million.
The Nigerian international did not enjoy the best of starts to life in English football this season though, making only 19 League appearances, of which only two have been starts and scoring just one goal.
Success is surely hold discussions with the club’s board over his first team chances ahead of next season and should he not be offered regular playing time, he may consider a switch to East London.
