According to reports from the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur have rejected a £50 million for midfielder Eric Dier from Manchester United.
This is not the first time that the Red Devils have inquired about Dier, as they also done so earlier during the January transfer window.
After moving to Spurs from Sporting Lisbon in 2014, Dier has gone on to establish himself as a key member of the North London outfit and as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
The England international played over 90% of Tottenham’s Premier League matches this season as they went on to eventually finish in second position.
The 23-year-old still has another four years remaining on his current deal and it seems unlikely that Spurs will let him go as he could be vital should they wish to compete for the Premier League once again next season. Spurs will also be hoping to keep hold of their other stars.
