Winfred Zaha is set to snub Tottenham after telling current club Crystal Palace that he is willing to sign a new five year contract at Selhurst Park which will see him being paid £110,000 per week.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form this season and was a pivotal force behind Palace’s ability to fight relegation whilst they were in poor form. Zaha notched seven goals and provided nine assists this season and was voted as the club’s Player of the season.
His performances reportedly caught the interest of Tottenham while Arsenal and Manchester City have also made contract with the Ivorian international’s representatives.
Should a new deal between Palace and Zaha be agreed upon, the winger will become the clubs joint highest paid player along with Christian Benteke.
The contract would not be a surprise as Zaha has a connection with Palace, having been a product of its youth development system, though he left the club to join Manchester United in 2013 before returning in 2015.
