West Ham star Michail Antonio has signed a new four year deal with the Hammers, which effectively puts an end to rumors that he may be joining Chelsea during the summer.
Though the 27 year old is out of action until next season due to an injury, he has performed well on the field this season, bagging nine goals and also earning a call up to the England national team.
Antionio said, “I’ve loved my time here and I’m happy we have managed to get things sorted,” said Antonio. “This year has been a better year than last year because I’ve played from start to finish and I managed to get the England call-up I’ve been dreaming of since I was a child”.
There is no doubt that this will come as good news for Hammers fans. Antonio will form a big part of Slaven Bilic’s plans next season as the club will look to have an improved season.
