According to Mirror, Tottenham are considering the possibility of signing Bournemouth defender Adam Smith, who could potentially be a replacement for Kyle Walker. With Kieran Trippier also impressing while playing in the role of Walker, the 26 year old must be frustrated at his lack of game time recently.
Walker has been out of favor at Spurs during recent weeks, with Manchester City rumored to be interested in signing him, as they look to add youth and homegrown talent to their defence.
Smith has been a consistent performer for Bournemouth this season, as the Cherries look to finish the season on the top half of the League standings. He has also managed to notch five assists in the process. The 26 year old Smith started his career with Spurs, managing one appearance for the senior team before joining Bournemouth on a permanent deal in 2014.
A move back to his boyhood club will surely be appealing.
