Sky Sources have reported that Slavisa Jokanovic will be West Ham’s target should the club decide to part ways with manager Slaven Bilic.
Bilic has come under criticism this season due to the fact that West Ham have failed to build upon their impressive displays from last term. The club did however end a poor run of form during the weekend, which consisted of five successive defeats.
Jokanovic has impressed with Championship club Fulham with the London club sitting in seventh position on the standings and two points adrift of the playoff positions.
The ability of Jokanovic to bring out the best in young players has reportedly attracted the interest of the West Ham board.
The East London club however maintained their support of Bilic and recently issued a statement saying, “To end speculation once and for all, the board feel it necessary to announce that we have 100 per cent faith in Slaven Bilic’s ability to lead West Ham United.”
