West Ham midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate has sent a message of support to fellow Senegal international Sadio Mane of Liverpool.
Kouyate helped the Hammers end their poor run of form, which consisted of five successive defeats, as he scored the goal which saw his team defeat Swansea 1-0 during the weekend.
Mane has been one of Liverpool’s key players this season as they look to challenge for a place in the UEFA Champions League. Jurgen Klopp’s men were however handed a huge blow when he was ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining an injury during the Merseyside derby win over Everton.
Kouyate took to Twitter to offer his support towards his fellow countryman saying, “I am praying for a quick recovery for you. Be strong and think positive. You will come back stronger. Alhamdoulila for everything.”
Kouyate will be hoping that his side can build upon their weekend victory during their upcoming matches in order to ease relegation worries.
