Tottenham are reportedly one of the clubs that are interested in signing Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson.
The 24-year-old has displayed impressive form this season his struggling side and will be expected to sign for a side that will extend his stay in the Premier League, should Boro be relegated.
According to reports, Chelsea are favorites to sign the England international and are believed to be willing to fork out £30 million for his services. He could be viewed as a replacement for John Terry, who is expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Tottenham could however also benefit from the services of the defender who has shown quality, so much so that he earned a call up to the England squad which recently competed against Lithuania and Germany.
Gibson would be a good addition to the side to provide competition to Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
