Arsenal legend Ray Parlour believes that Jack Wilshere may end up signing for West Ham United at the end of the season.
Parlour said as reported by talkSport, “I think West Ham have been mentioned, his dad is a big a West Ham fan, that might be a move. Their midfield does need a little bit of strengthening.”
After repeated injury setbacks, the England international was sent to Bounemouth this season by the Gunners to regain match experience and though the midfielder has remained injury free, he has lost his place within the starting lineup of the Cherries during recent weeks.
Considering that West Ham have been linked, and with the East London club’s attacking options failing them this season, they may be one of the clubs which makes an approach for Wilshere.
It also remains to be seen whether the 24-year-old will be part of the Arsenal first team should he return and if not, he may favor a move in order to boost his chances of making the England 2018 World Cup squad.
