Manchester City reportedly plotting stunning £50million move for Tottenham defender

According to TalkSport, Manchester City are eyeing a move for Tottenham defender Danny Rose. City are expected to make massive changes to their defence during the summer and Rose is one of the players on Pep Guardiola’s radar.

City will have to fork out a figure within the region of £50 million for the services of the England international. While such a sum is high, it is within their spending capabilities.

Though Rose signed a new five year deal at White Hart Lane recently, he could be set for an improved salary should he agree to switch to the Etihad Stadium.

Rose has previously spoken of his admiration for Spurs and luring him away from the club will not be an easy task. Daniel Levy of Spurs is known to strike a deal if it benefits the club well and should City offer an outrageous sum of money to the North London Club, a sale may happen.
