Speaking heading of his sides clash against Premier League leaders Chelsea on Monday, West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic said that the title race is far from over.
The Blues sit comfortably on top of the League table and are ten points ahead of second placed Tottenham Hotspurs.
Even though Chelsea are seemingly sailing towards the League title, Bilic feels that there is still enough time for their rivals to catch them.
“It [the title race] is still very open. If they slip up, which you can in every game, other teams need to be ready,” said the West Ham boss.
Bilic is one of a few managers who managed to defeat Antonio Conte’s Chelsea this season as the Hammers beat them 2-1 in the League Cup at the London Stadium back in October.
Chelsea will be favorites to win the match on Monday, however West Ham is not a team that they can afford to take lightly and are capable of causing an upset with a bit of luck.
