Leeds United reportedly in talks for up to three players

Leeds vs Port Vale

Championship side Leeds United have been linked with a move for Bradford left-back James Meredith.

Daily Star claims that Leeds and Norwich are competing for the services of the 28-year-old and hope to grab him cheap, as he has only six months left on his deal.

The report thinks that a £350,000 bid would be enough for either of the clubs to get their target.

The 28-year-old Aussie has made 26 appearances for the League One club this season and been one of their standout players in the first half of the season.

Meanwhile, Phil Hay, of Yorkshire Evening Post, has claimed that the Whites are still interested in West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher and Norwich City winger Sergi Canos.

Hay revealed on his Twitter account that the Yorkshire side are still in touch with the Fletcher camp and haven’t given up on signing Canos. Both players joined their respective clubs last summer, but have failed to make any sort of impact in the first half of the season.
