Everton currently sit at 7th in the Premier League table. Although most fans expected more from the new manager, Ronald Koeman, it seems that position number seven is their reality. Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United are the teams that are aiming for the title and it is hard to expect Everton can upset any of them.

Everton had a crisis in October and November and they won only one out of their ten Premier League matches. With three victories in their last five games it seems they are getting back on the right track, but there are several players who aren’t performing as expected this season. 3. Aaron Lennon

The career of this former England international is continuing to decline. He broke into England senior squad when he was only 19, but when we look back at his career, we must realize that he was an early bloomer. Aaron Lennon simply can’t break into Everton’s starting 11. He featured in only 10 Premier League games this season (only six as a starter) and he was substituted five times. He has failed to score a single goal in the season so far.
