Leeds Utd have expressed an interest in Norwich City winger Sergi Canos, according to the latest report from Sky Sports. However, the Whites stand only an outside chance to sign the youngster, as Brentford currently lead the race to secure his services.
The 19-year-old signed for the Canaries in a £2.5 million move from Liverpool in the summer.
However, he has managed only 103 minutes of league action this season, and the Canaries are considering selling him just six months after signing from the Reds.
The former Barcelona academy youth made a breakthrough into senior football last season during his successful loan spell at Brentford.
He scored seven goals in 38 league appearances for the Bees and became a fan-favourite. The Bees wanted to sign him in summer, but he opted to sign for the Canaries instead.
Last week, Sky Sports claimed that the Bees had already held talks with the Canaries regarding a potential move for the teenager.
It is understood that the player would prefer a move to Brentford if he ends up leaving his current club this month.
