According to reports from Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Premier League giants Manchester United are planning a whopping £80 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
Manchester United did take a bit of a risk by signing 35-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer but it has to be said that the gamble has more than paid off.
Despite his advancing years, Ibrahimovic has led the line brilliantly for United this season and has already scored an impressive 17 goals in all competitions so far.
While Ibrahimovic is delivering the goods at the moment, Manchester United will be well served by thinking about bringing in replacements for the Swedish superstar as he surely cannot go on forever and also due to the fact that the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial currently look too raw.
Kane set for United move?
There has been a lot of speculation in the media that the Red Devils are eyeing a move for a host of strikers and now according to reports from Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, claims have been made that United are currently planning a big money move for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
Kane has been one of the best strikers in the Premier League over the past few years and the England international has continued his rich vein in front of goal this season as well, scoring 12 goals in all competitions for Tottenham.
United have been long time admirers of Kane and now reports have stated that the fallen Premier League giants are planning to make a whopping bid of around £80 million in order to lure the 23-year-old away from White Hart Lane next summer, in a potential deal which will make the striker the most expensive English player of all time.
