Boost for Chelsea as target reportedly looking to force Stamford Bridge move

According to reports from the Daily Express, Premier League giants Chelsea have been handed a huge encouragement in their hopes of signing Federico Bernardeschi.

Chelsea are clearly enjoying a wonderful run of form at the moment and the Blues have understandably been touted by many as genuine contenders for the Premier League title.

That said though, Chelsea clearly have a long way to go before thinking about claiming the triumph in the English top flight and in order to boost his side’s credentials, manager Antonio Conte is said to be looking to strengthen the ranks at Stamford Bridge during the upcoming January transfer window.

A host of players have understandably been linked with a move to Chelsea over the past few weeks and recently, it had been claimed that the Premier League giants were considering a swoop for Italian winger Federico Bernardeschi.

Bernardeschi could be set for Chelsea move

Bernardeschi is currently plying his trade for Fiorentina and has managed to establish himself as one of the most promising young players in Italy since making his debut for Viola back in 2014.

The 22-year-old has been in fine form during the current campaign, scoring 4 goals in just 11 appearances from a wide position so far this season and such wonderful exploits has alerted a host of top clubs across Europe.

Chelsea are one of the teams said to be very keen on signing Bernardeschi and as a huge boost for the Blues hopes of completing the prospective transfer, it has been claimed by the Daily Express that the youngster is now ready to force his move to Stamford Bridge by making a request to Fiorentina to allow him to leave this January.
