Report: Liverpool close to signing Brazilian Winger

According to Sky Sports and Football Whispers, Liverpool could be seriously interested in signing PSG’s Brazilian player Lucas Moura.

The twenty-three-year-old midfielder has been attracting Klopp’s attention for the past few weeks, but now it seems like deal could be closer than ever.

Moura had a pretty good season in the French Ligue 1, scoring 9 goals in 36 appearances. When we add 4 more goals scored in other competitions, we come to a total number of 13 goals from 55 appearances (32 starts). As you can see, Moura has pretty good numbers on his side, so it is no surprise that the Merseyside club is interested in signing him.

If Moura joins Liverpool, however, he is probably going to have a much bigger role, because the Reds need one fast right winger – just the type of player Lucas Moura is.

While it is true that Moura would have to sacrifice Champions League play this season, I think that it could prove to be worthy, because in Liverpool, he would have a potential of becoming one of the key players.
