Report: 22-year-old striker eyes move to Tottenham Hotspur

Michy Batshuayi has been on the radar of a few English teams this summer but according to reports from the Express, the Belgian International has eyes set on joining Tottenham.

It has been reported by the Express that the 22-year-old striker has turned down an £31 million offer from West Ham in favor of a move to Spurs.

Spurs boast the Premier League’s best striker and Golden Boot Winner Harry Kane, but lacked depth at that position after young Clinton Nije went down with injury.

Tottenham need to find a partner for Kane to avoid fatigue down the stretch. Spurs infamously lost their last 2 games of the season, leaving arch-rivals Arsenal with a second place finish.

Batshuayi started 38 games up top for Marseille in Ligue 1 and scored 17 goals. The Belgian international is a clinical finisher and likes to set up play in the box.

While Michy has been on Spurs radar for awhile , they are more likely to sign Vincent Janssen though, who is a cheaper option.
