Chelsea’s first match under Conte confirmed, pre-season locations chosen

Chelsea announced that they will kick off their pre-season in Austria. The first match will be against Rapid Vienna in their brand new stadium, Allianz Stadion. In the second clash, Chelsea will face WAC RZ Pellets at the Worthersee Stadion. Both the matches will take place on 16th July and 20th July, respectively.

This pre-season will be as important as a league season for The Blues and their supporters. Everyone is looking forward to seeing the new coach Antonio Conte in action on the sidelines after the EURO2016.

The hopes are really high and trophies are expected to come under Antonio Conte. In addition to that, Chelsea supporters will be keen to see squad composition under Conte.

After the Austrian pre-season, Chelsea will then head to the United States where they will participate in the International Champions Cup. Liverpool is expected to be their first opponent in ICC at the Rose bowl in Pasadena on July 27th, followed by clashes against Real Madrid and AC Milan in Santa Clara and Minneapolis, respectively.
