Chelsea have reportedly agreed to dump player for cheap to Real Madrid

Eden Hazard

According to OkDiario (via The Daily Star), Chelsea has reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sell Eden Hazard this summer for €32m.

One of the top Spanish football writers Eduardo Inda said, “Eden Hazard is done. The amount has been agreed with the player and with Chelsea.”

Eden Hazard has not been in good form for most of the season. He has been bothered by a few injuries throughout the year. Although Hazard has yet to score in a Premier League match this season, he is still considered one of the top players in the world.

Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane has wanted to coach Hazard for a long time now, as Hazard has been the top man on Zidane’s transfer list.

Even though Hazard has had a poor season thus far, it seems bizarre that Chelsea would accept the reported offer of just €32m.

Hazard would be an interesting addition for Real as they already have two great wingers in Ronaldo and Bale. It seems as if this deal would be more towards the attempt to find a replacement for Ronaldo once he leaves Madrid.

As for Chelsea, this move would not make much sense. The new Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, should be able to get the best out of Hazard and make him into the player that Chelsea fans loved during their title-winning season.

If Chelsea to decide to move Hazard, they must ask for more than the reported €32m deal. This could definitely be the most intriguing rumor throughout the summer transfer window.
