Superstar duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will ponder Arsenal exit if Arsene Wenger does not leave in the summer, according to reports
A season that had promised so much is once again set to deliver little as Arsenal have faltered in their Premier League title bid and need a herculean effort from now till the end of the season to bring an end to their long drought in the league.
Wenger set for another season of failure
Although mathematically still possible, it seems very likely that Arsenal will not win the title and many fans are now calling for long serving manager Arsene Wenger to step down upon the conclusion of the current campaign.
Wenger has remained defiant amid the criticism and has hinted that he would like to stay put until the end of his current contract which expires next season.
It is not only the fans who seem to be disgruntled with Wenger though and now according to reports, claims have been claimed that superstar duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will look to leave the Emirates Stadium if the Frenchman continues on as manager.
Sanchez and Ozil fed up at Arsenal
According to Don Balon, Ozil has been left disillusioned under Wenger and is keen on a move away unless the management team undergoes a complete revamp.
Sanchez, who has been critical of his own teammates’ performance, is also said to be unhappy at Arsenal and wants to leave irrespective of whether or not Wenger stays on as manager – with Italian giants Juventus interested in his services.
