According to reports from the Metro, it has been claimed that Chelsea are readying a £20million bid for Mahrez and the club hierarchy are hopeful that the sizeable bid will be enough to lure the Algerian international away from the King Power Stadium.
Mahrez has been one of the undoubted stars of the Premier League so far this season, scoring a fantastic 13 goals and his arrival could most certainly spark a revival at Stamford Bridge.
