Signing a new striker seems to be on the top of the agenda for Klopp and recent reports had claimed that the Liverpool boss had identified Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi as a target.

Icardi has been one of the most consistent strikers in Europe over the past two seasons and as a result, the striker is widely being touted with a big money move to one of the elite clubs around in Europe.

The Premier League has been seen as a realistic destination for Icardi and fallen Premier League giants Chelsea were said to be eyeing up a move for the Italian international.

Liverpool are very keen on snapping up Icardi and the reports go on to claim that the Premier League side could launch a bid of around £24.5million in order to tempt Inter into parting with their star man.
