Arsenal are reported to be interested in making a move for Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda, the Daily Mirror has reported. 19-year-old Musonda is currently plying his trade with the Blues’ reserve team and making a good impression as well.

The problem however, is that the attacking midfielder has not been given a chance to make the step up from the reserve team despite having been a regular in it for the last three seasons. The youngster is reported to have grown tired with the lack of first-team opportunities and the Daily Mirror has claimed that he would be willing to move to another club.

Monaco and Arsenal are believed to be the front-runners in the race for his signature and it is expected that the talented midfielder would command a fee of at least 10m Pounds as the French side had a bid of that value turned down last summer.

Arsenal would naturally be interested in making a move for Musonda, who is deemed to be one of the brightest prospects in the entire Chelsea youth setup. Any move for the player though, would not come cheap and Arsene Wenger could have to end up paying quite a bit for the Belgian’s signature.
