The Mexico vs Bolivia international friendly will be played this Tuesday, September 9, 2014 (7:00 PM Pacific) at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver, CO. The Mexican national team will play in their second friendly in what marks the start to their road towards the Copa Oro and Copa America 2015.

The team coached by Miguel Herrera faced Chile last Saturday, in a good quality match which ended in a 0-0 tie. In that game, Mexico played with most of their World Cup starters, plus a few new appearances which gave a good showing. Against Bolivia, it is expected that ‘el tri’ uses their alternate lineup which will include new faces like Erick ‘Cubo’ Torres, Luis Venegas, and Pizarro.
The biggest obstacle shown by Mexico in the game against Chile was defining the several goal scoring opportunities. The team played well in every aspect except at the front, therefore Piojo Herrera will hope his players improve in that aspect against Bolivia. To obtain those goals, Mexico will go into the game with a forward duo composed of Javier ‘Chuletita’ Orozco and Erick ‘Cubo’ Torres. Although this is a new duo in the Mexican national team, they will be helped from behind by Marco Fabian, Antonio Rios, and Javier Aquino.

Although Bolivia is not seen as a top class opponent, this friendly will allow Piojo Herrera to analyze which players to keep in his roster in what will be an end to the year filled with friendlies. Bolivia also had a friendly in the past couple of days which they lost 4-0 against Ecuador.

Mexico vs Bolivia Prediction

Both Mexico and Bolivia played in within the last week, and both were not able to score a goal. This Tuesday, each side will break that goalless mark, although Mexico will be the one to come out victorious. The ‘tricolor’ will domimate the match, as they have the better team, more experience, and the support of the stadium. The Mexico vs Bolivia game will end in a 3-1 win for the Aztec side.

Mexico vs Bolivia TV Schedule
