PICTURES: Falcao and Blind unveiled as Manchester United’s latest acquisitions

A frantic but exciting transfer deadline day concluded last night with a couple of shocking transfers taking place and the Premier League side which probably made the biggest impact during the last 24 hours was Manchester United.

The Red Devils completed the shock signing of Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao as well as Dutch international Daley Blind, while allowed the likes of Danny Welbeck, Javier Hernandez, Tom Lawrence, Nick Powell and Michael Keane to leave the club, in what prove to be a very busy day for the Premier League giants.

While United fans would have been a bit sad at seeing Welbeck and Hernandez leave in particular, the summer marked a dawn of a new era for the Red Devils and the arrivals of players such as Falcao and Blind certainly sparks a sense of excitement among the club’s faithful heading into the future.
