Manchester United complete Blind signing
Ajax confirmed the completion of the transfer by releasing the following statement, “Ajax and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the transfer of Daley Blind. An estimated €17.5 million is estimated in the transfer deal to the English club.
“His contract with Ajax had been valid until June 30, 2016. The deal between the clubs is contingent on the fulfilment of a number of conditions.”
Blind could prove to be an important player for United this season
Blind played a starring role for Netherlands at the World Cup under Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and the United faithful will certainly be hoping that the duo can reunite effectively to produce a similar effect at Old Trafford as well.
A versatile defender who can player at left back as well as in central midfield, Bind offers a very good option for van Gaal and the young man could prove to be a good signing for the Red Devils.
