In the current season, many of our readers will agree that Liverpool is the club which showed the greatest improvement in display and results. The absence of Suarez in first five matchweeks and exclusion from European games gave the opportunity to Liverpool players to fight not just for a place in the Champions League (which was stated as first and most important goal for this season), but to secretly hope that after 22 years, they can fight and win the domestic tittle.
Although Suarez (along with Gerrard) is the biggest star of the club, this season has demonstrated Sturridge’s potential. For the second time in this season, Sturridge was voted for player of month, and he shared his joy with fans :

February was an outstanding month for the striker – in four games, he scored five goals and provided three assists. His partnership with Suarez is simply brilliant; together they have scored 45 goals in this season, while all other players in the Liverpool squad have scored 28 goals in total.
Starting from Sunday, the duo have 900 minutes to show that they can write a new page in EPL history – first stop is an away game at Old Trafford.
