Pumas will host Atlas for their Week 7 Liga MX match at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario on Sunday, February 16th at 10:00 AM Pacific.

Pumas, at home and ready

Pumas defeated Leon 2-1 at the Nou Camp last week, in what could turn out to be an important match. This victory motivates the team greatly, because they have now won three straight Liga MX matches.

Pumas is now in the liguilla positions and it seems that their bad streak is behind them. However, they will face Atlas, who is desperately seeking points and will stop at nothing in order to get them. Jose Luis Trejo will now have to show that the team is starting to look better and that his tactics are working.

Atlas, trying to avoid relegation

Tomas Boy is seeking to turn things around for Atlas, although with only 1 win, 2 draws and 3 loses this season, it does not look bright for the Zorros. Atlas are also involved in the relegation process, just a little ahead of Atlante, but still in problems if they do not get the points needed.

Atlas will not have Vuoso and Flavio Santos, two players that had been giving the boost in the attack, and that might be a bit of a problem, since they have only been able to score 4 goals in 6 games. Statistically, Atlas has gotten the upper hand visiting C.U, but their current standings might turn that around.

Pumas vs Atlas Prediction

Pumas is motivated and complete, and they will try to get the 3 points before facing America next week. Martin Bravo is on a roll, scoring goals and will be ready this Sunday.  Atlas will play focusing on earning a draw, and that might make things complicated for Pumas. Nonetheless, Pumas will surely end the match with a 2-0 victory.
