The Eagles will have an extra push to win this classic in honor of Eusebio.  Benfica will have the chance to play at home, in the most important match of the season up to the 15th week.  The team coached by Jorge Jesus currently sits in 3rd place with 33 points; one point below the leader Sporting Lisbon.  By defeating Porto, Benfica will reach 36 points, and also gain first place as Sporting Lisbon already played this weekend.

Like Benfica, Porto will also be pressured to win this match at the Estadio da Luz.  The Dragons are in 2nd place of the standings, also with 33 points and one behind the leader Sporting Lisbon.  With the win against Benfica, they would also reach the first place.  If the game ends in a tie, all three teams will finish the week tied in points with 34, although the Lions have a great goal differential.
