Xolos had an elaborate presentation on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 to reveal their new jersey for the upcoming Clausura 2014 season. The presentation involved the ‘XoloGirls’ (cheerleaders), the Xolo Mayor, most team members, and a chanting display by ‘La Masakre’, Tijuana’s main supporters group.
The main picture of this article shows how the new jersey will look like. The club has, of course, kept the traditional red and black colors, and has ‘Caliente’ (Jorge Hank’s betting company) once again prominently displayed on the front of the jersey.
A very simple jersey overall, with only one major difference form the jersey Xolos used in 2013. This edition of the jersey has a horizontal black line running at chest height, and the ‘Caliente’ logo is also arranged horizontally. The 2013 edition had both the ‘Caliente’ logo and the black line arranged vertically on the left side of the jersey.
New season, new head coach, and new jersey, let’s hope Xolos can recover from a mediocre Apertura 2013, and become a leading team in 2014.
