The Atlas vs Pumas Liga MX Week 7 match will have Atlas host Pumas at the Estadio Jalisco this Saturday August 24th at 7:00 PM PST.

Atlas, looking for their first win at home

Atlas has not won a single game this season, and the team is in bad need of points as the first third of the tournament has gone by. Omar Asad has not yet found the formula to get this team to the level that Tomas Boy made it reach.

With only Oscar Razo out due to an injury, Atlas has mostly a full squad and will be ready to take on Pumas. Atlas will try to use Omar Bravo and Vicente Vuoso on the front, strikers that know how to score against Pumas and that will try to surpass their defense.

Pumas, also looking for their first win

Pumas is in the exact same position as Atlas, though statistically Atlas is better due to the amount of goals they have scored. Pumas comes from a win in the Copa MX, and that should have been a good booster in their motivation as a team.

Dario Veron and Martin Romagnolli will not see action in the game, being that the first was red carded vs Leon and Romagnolli is injured. Pumas might have a problem in the defense since Antonio Garcia, who would usually cover for Palacios or Veron, is also injured.

Atlas vs Pumas Prediction

Both teams, both coaches are on the edge and are looking to obtain the 3 points. Atlas has the upper hand playing at home and being that Pumas defense will be weaker than usual. This will be a tough game in the middle of the pitch. Atlas, however, will come out with the win by 2-1.

Atlas vs Pumas Television
